each of semi-circular section, decorated on the curved side with a ruyi-border at the mouth above lotus blossoms borne on foliate scrolls incorporating a bat suspending a wan symbol,  the waisted neck flanked by foliate scroll handles, with an integral simulated gold-wire inlaid wood stand, the flat side pierced with four holes and a notch for hanging, the interior covered with turquoise enamel, four-character gilt seal mark in a line (2). Heights 7 7/8 in., 20 cm. Estimation: 30,000 - 50,000 USD - Lot. Vendu 74,500 USD

PROVENANCE: Estate of Frank Buttram, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, acquired in the late 1920s.

NOTE DE CATALOGUE: A pair of baluster-shaped wall vases of similar color and decoration, also with Qianlong marks and of the period was sold in our London rooms, 13th May 2009, lot 203.
