the hollow bowl with rounded sides collared with a wide six-lobed dish with slightly curved sides, all supported on a hollow spreading foot, carved through the layers of red lacquer on the exterior with organically arranged leafy floral blooms including chrysanthemum, peony, camellia and prunus, the interior of the bowl and foot lacquered in black; 16.2cm., 6 3/8 in.
