The domed cover and curved exterior walls of the box painted in vividly hued enamels and black outline with auspicious bats and ribboned Buddhist emblems separated by intertwined flowering and fruiting branches against the pale mustard yellow ground with gilt highlights along the edges, the recessed base within the tall foot bearing the six-character mark in iron red seal script on a square reserve surrounded by turquoise enamel. 8 7/8in (22.5cm) diameter.
