Baluster form, elaborately painted in gilt with rectangular, circular and leaf- form cartouches featuring lotus, peony and other seasonal blossoms together with butterflies, birds and insects amonst rock formations; all against a patterned ground of lingzhi, scrolling lotus, huiwen motifs. H: 31 inches; overall in good condition with minor frets to rim and loss to gilding. Estimate $8,000-12,000
