Of pear form with delicate and standardized proportions, the teapot's spout tip, rim, and finial all covered with bronze, the teapot completely balanced as it was designed to be used in Gongfu tea ceremony. Two character mark "Shui Ping" beneath the lid, two character "Meng Cheng" signature along with colophon on the bottom, and two character "Chang Ji" mark beneath the handle. Chang Ji was a store from late Qing Dynasty period, well known for their quality Yixing teapots.
