the ovoid body rising from a recessed circular foot to a square neck, the exterior delicately painted with a continuous scene of birds flying over and perched on rockworks and trees issuing budding flowers, the base inscribed with a six-character mark within double circles; 8.7 cm., 3 3/8 in.
