Jar of porcelain. Four-lobed flattened pear-shape, with short neck. Painted in underglaze cobalt blue with ducks (some flying) among lotuses and water plants; on the shoulder a band of stylised lotus on winding stems; on the neck a narrow border of key fret; at the foot a border of panels each containing a formal flower. Gilt metal liner.
