The centre painted in underglaze-blue with flowering branches, enclosed by a narrow polychrome and gilt band of stylised fences and blossoms, the border with large polychrome flowering branches, the brown-edged rim with an underglaze-blue diaper band, 22.1cm diam., crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, incised ||| (some scattered stacking wear) (9). A plate of the same pattern is in the Arnhold Collection, New York (M. Cassidy-Geiger, The Arnhold Collection of Meissen Porcelain 1710-50 (2008), no. 221). Another was sold at Christie's London on 11 December 2007, lot 56.
