Comprising: a 'shan' mirror, crisply cast with the stylised character repeated over a ground of scrolling motifs; a smaller silvery bronze mirror with archaistic geometric and scrolling motifs, the latter resembling the character 'wen'; a TLV mirror with a scalloped edge; and a foliated mirror with geese amongst scrolling vines. 12cm (4 3/4in) diam. Provenance: a European private collection, probably acquired in the 1960s.
