Each bowl is potted with deep rounded sides, supported on a short foot. The exterior is decorated in a vibrant tone of coral-red with a reserved design of leafy bamboo branches. 4 7/8 in. (12.5 cm.) diam.
Provenance: From the collection of a Dutch official, stationed in Batavia in the early 20th century and thence by descent within the family.
