the well potted deep sides rising to an indented groove below the rim, the bluish-black glaze with bold streaks of reddish-brown ‘hare’s fur’ pulling at the rim to reveal the dark brown stoneware body, the glaze cascading to numerous lustrous pools above the neatly knife-pared foot; 12.6 cm, 4 7/8 in.
