Stoneware with celadon colored glaze, old gold lacquer repairs (kintsugi). The compressed body with three raised flanges above the tapering legs joined by a band at the shoulder, overall covered with a pale celadon glaze thinning on the extremities, on the rim two old gold lacquer repairs (kintsugi), Base with an old collector’s label - Height: 5.5 cm. Width: c. 8.5 cm. Good condition.
Provenance: former Swedish collection, Stockholm, acquired from Douglas Wright in London.
