modeled standing attentively on a low trapezoidal base, hands held in front supporting a pair of green and amber-glazed slippers with upturned pointed toes, wearing a voluminous, long, pale green-glazed robe with a central amber streak, gathered in crisp, shallow folds secured by a low-slung belt, over loose trousers, the unglazed head with hair swept up in a double-bun topknot bound in a black kerchief, the soft full face with well-articulated features picked out in black and red pigments over white slip, Japanese wood boxes (5) - Height 17 1/2 in., 44.5 cm
