31 x 24 cm. Overall frame: 59 x 61 cm. 

Presentation of the exhibition of the thorn-crowned Jesus. With a long-bearded man wearing a turban, the High Priest and one armored soldiers with helmet, open the cloak of Christ. The three figures in a perspective room with arched, behind walls and barred windows. In the upper corners auricular decoration with fruit and leaves and central cartridge. At the lower rim curly cartridge frame label "Ecce Homo" and side scrolls. Copper repoussé work, partly finely stippled and gilt. In ancient ebonized flame molded frame. A representative work of the so-called cartilage or auricular style, of the Dutch gold and silversmith Paulus van Vianen (1613-1652) emanated by Cornelis Floris (1514-1575) and Christoph Jamnitzer (1563-1618) was developed.
