The near pair potted in traditional form comprised of tapered cylindrical mouth and foot rims separated by long rectangular bodies supporting molded elephant head and ring form handles below the shoulders, one displaying a glaze of slightly deeper mottled cobalt hue than the other, the recessed bases both centered by dark blue underglaze six-character marks in standard script (one vase drilled). 11 1/2in (29.3cm) high.
