The pear-shaped body is carved and combed with a broad band of peony scroll above upright lotus petals around the foot and below a band of ruyi cloud collar enclosing florettes. The trumpet neck is carved with a keyfret band and classic scroll below upright plantain leaves around the mouth. The vase is covered overall with a celadon glaze of sea-green tone with exception of the foot ring. 13 5/8 in. (34.2 cm.) high, box
