The pear-shaped body is decorated in openwork with a broad undulating peony band to reveal the inner vase, all above a band of upright lappets and below bands of ruyi-head, pendent leaves and geometric pattern. Covered overall with a glaze of olive-green tone pooling to darker tones in the recesses except for an unglazed ring. 10 1/4 in. (26 cm.) high
